Project Description

Objective:

To quote for the manufacture of a custom made bench for the mixing of paints used within the Automotive industry.

Customer provided a detailed sketch of the specific design requirements which incorporate integral fume extraction to protect the operator.

The work surface area was to form a “Bund” with a raised lip at the front to contain spillages.

Secure lockable storage cupboards were required within the unit with a single shelf and double locking doors. This area was also ventilated internally to eliminate fume build up.

All the ventilation louvres were to be adjustable to enable the operator to equalise & balance the extraction throughout the unit.   

Summary:

Following the customer’s acceptance of the quotation and the subsequent receipt of a purchase order, we provided a CAD drawing of our proposal for approval prior to the commencement of manufacture.
